PlayQ4

Quake 4 is a first-person shooter video game developed in 2005.
As the game is now over 20 years old, the player base has shrunk to a quite small group of players who still play game.

With PlayQ4, we provide free servers, ranked leaderboards and a place for players to connect and compete. falcuma started the project in early 2021, and has been running the servers since then. Later that year molkypolky, niklas and I joined the team to help with the community and technical infrastructure.

Over the years, we have built several pieces of software to make playing Quake 4 easier.
